This Tropical Matcha Smoothie Bowl is such a great treat and it not only tastes great but is super beautiful.
It actually took me a while to really enjoy matcha. It was not something that I immediately loved drinking and eating. It has a very strong and unique flavor and it took me a while to really enjoy it. Now I really love it and drink it often.
I decided to put some in a smoothie bowl with some pineapple and banana. The pineapple with the tea flavor is so perfect. It is the perfect hint of tropical and tea flavor that reminds of a tea punch. I pretty much say this with all my smoothie bowl recipes that I post but the toppings are really up to you! I listed what I put on this one but really I want you all to be creative with your bowls. That is what makes them so fun. I change them out all the time according to either what I have in the house or whatever is in season so just have fun being creative with your smoothie bowls!
- ½ frozen banana
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 tsp matcha powder (I use this one)
- 1 cup almond milk
- Add the banana, pineapple, matcha and almond milk to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth but very thick.
- Top with mango, raspberry, chia and granola or any of your favorite toppings.
